About Wilkes-Bare

Wilkes-Barre only played six games in the national tournament and lost all six. Five of those six games were played at Roxbury Park and the other at Edwards Hill. The 1950 Swoyerville Juniors lost to Zanesville 9-4 and Washington 6-5. The 1951 Yeosocks lost to New York City 17-7 and Zanesville 7-6. In their final year of 1952, the Yeosocks were eliminated by New York City (5-3) and eventual-champions Pittsfield (12-0).
