About Concord

Concord placed 3rd their first year in 1947. The American Legion squad can boast of wins over Brooklyn, Harrisburg, Amsterdam, and Philadelphia. Their only loses came to eventual-champion Washington by scores of 9-2 and 4-2, both at Point Stadium.

The 1948 Juniors team started 2-0 with wins over Pittsburgh (14-5 at Westmont) and defending-champion Washington (11-9 at Roxbury). They were eliminated by New Jersey and Pittsfield.

The Juniors managed only 1 wins in 1949, that being a 10-3 game over New York at Price Memorial Field. Harrisburg had beaten Concord 9-6 earlier in the day, and a 4-3 loss to New Orleans on Wednesday was the final game played by the franchise.
