About Cincinnati

Cincinnati has had two stints in the AAABA: the first from 1975 to 1983 and the second from 2000 to 2007. While the franchise is technically still active and paying dues, it has not had a competing team since the Midland Warriors of 2007.

Hal Pennington's Wilson Freight teams were the first Cincinnati-based entry in the AAABA and compiled a 15-12 record over 6 tournaments. Their best finish came in 1981, when the placed 3rd under their new name--the Midland Chiefs. After the Middletown Lone Star entry finished winless in 1983, Cincinnati dropped out of AAABA competition.

In 2000, the franchise was revived, but could not match the success of its first incarnation. The club lost in regionals four times and were 0-6 during three national tournament appearances.
