The Conemaugh Valley Senior High School field was used for the national tournament from 1989 to 1994. The field is located just over 3 miles north of Johnstown and was named in honor of Pete Vuckovich, a Conemaugh Valley graduate who played twelve seasons in the Major Leagues with the White Sox, Blue Jays, Cardinals and Brewers. He won the 1982 AL Cy Young Award and also played Clu Haywood in the 1989 film Major League.
