Reporters Wanted

We Need Your Help!

Report scores while at the games

We'll be working hard next week to keep you updated on all the AAABA action, but since we have a small staff, we need your help to keep the website updated during the day.

We started the Gameday page several seasons ago to post live scoring during the day, but with fields stretching south to Somerset and north to Lilly, it is impossible for us to be at all the games at once. Therefore, we rely on spectators at the games to report updates as they happen. By sending information to our site, we're able to compile all the scores and stats and keep all the fans, parents, and players up to date on the latest action.

If you're at a daytime game, please send us inning scores and highlights to post on the site. Here are the ways that you can contribute:

• Email us at

• Tweet with the hashtag #AAABA or #AAABA2015

• Tweet us directly @AAABATournament

• Post on our Facebook page or send us a private message

• We also accept texts to Brian at 814-241-1801, although these may take a bit longer to get on the site

To report a score, we just need the number of runs for each team and the inning, such as "Brooklyn 2 Buffalo 2 B5" meaning the game is tied at 2 in the bottom of the 5th. "BRK 2 BUF 2 B5" would work, as well.

If something important happens (a home run, a triple play, a big hit, a pitching change) we can add those as notes on the box score. We also like to post the starting pitchers, so please send us those if you know them.

Thank you for your help and support!
