Zanesville and Cleveland split wins on Saturday

Decisive game to be played Sunday at 1pm

The Cleveland Blaze and host Zanesville Junior Pioneers split the first two games of the AAABA western regional at historic Gant Municipal Stadium in Zanesville on Saturday afternoon. The Great Lakes Baseball League champion Blaze won the opening game 2-0, but the Pioneers responded with a 10-6 victory in the tail-end of the double-header.

The final game will be played Sunday at 1pm at Gant Stadium. The winner will advance to the national tournament in Johnstown beginning on August 10th.
