NORTH BRUNSWICK: Schenectady withdrew from the Altoona regional, so this series was change to a best-of-three series between New Brunswick and New York. New Brunswick (Matrix) defeat New York City (Northeast Tribe) 2 games to 0 by scores of 16-0 (7i) and 10-0 (7i) in North Brunswick, New Jersey.

ZANESVILLE: Maryland State withdrew from the national tournament, so Chicago-South Shore was given a direct bid. Cleveland (Blaze Black) defeated Zanesville (Junior Pioneers) 2 games to 1 by scores of  2-0, 6-10, and 8-7 in Zanesville, Ohio.
